Lan Ling sets up a trap in the cave, Chang San-lung gets poisoned and faints. Siang-r tries to save him. Lan Ling follows in, the two women meet and fight. The cave collapses, and the three think that they will die in the cave and show their true feelings. Later, no name Taoistsaves them. Lan Ling is jealous of Siang-r and goes away. Meanwhile, Shu-wing escapes amidst the commotion.
Zi Zhou has a drought, Li Yan'begs Yang Gian to use donated food in the warehouse to ease the disaster. Yang Gian refuses. Yang Kuang induces Yang Yung to go to Zi Zhou, hoping to hold him responsible for theillegal sale of rice.
At Zi Zhou, The Girl with the Red Duster helps the starving rob rice fromthe warehouse. Liu Chiung rushes to the warehouse and stopsthe commotion.
Yang Yung and Li Tsing arrive at Zi Zhou. Liu Chiung stirs up the feelings of the people, and wants Yang Yung to give the donated food to the people……
