When Lady YUEN-SAU travels around in the imperial garden with Lady YUE-YUET, she mentions about a rumor from a palace maid that someone is scheming something. Knowing that Lady YUEN-SAU is targeting her, Lady YUE-YUET refuses to talk about it anymore. KAT-HOI fixes the house for Lady YUEN-SAU in spite of the rain, and Lady YUEN-SAU is surprised to see him doing minion's work as she knows he was once an court official. On inquiry, Lady YUE-YUET finds SEUNG-LING did not return to her residence after leaving the palace. In fact, SEUNG-LING is in a trance, walking to the edge of bridge to commit suicide, when LAU-FEI shows up unexpectedly.
