A married man in his 30s and a teenage school girl are having their last rendezvous in their regular shady hotel. Smuggled for their dessert is a strong-smelled fruit called durian.

This film is set in the aftermath of the 2002 Bali bombings. Focusing on three different perspectives, it looks at how these individuals find peace in their lives. Note: this film was banned from screening in Bali. A rating was declined by the Bali censorship board, due to concerns the film might have stirred up tensions in Indonesia.

An employee of Lentera Merah, the campus newspaper of the University of Indonesia, is found dead in the office with the number '65' written in blood. Meanwhile, five students compete for a position at the publication.

The film tells about "Syahlevi", a person who is very busy with his work that does not really care about himself. His mother, played by Rima Melati, has to repeatedly remind him to get married.
