A former talent manager and single mother discovers a new star, reigniting her career. However, her devotion to the star ignites her teenage son's jealousy, and she struggles to balance her family and her career.

In 1970s Hong Kong, the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) was formed to bring down the corruption syndicate led by British government officials. One of its top investigators is Senior Investigator Lau Kai-Yuen, who brought down countless corrupted officials. Single father Tsui meets university student Gigi who works at an old-fashioned barber shop that Tsui frequents. They bond immediately and begin a profound exchange. Amidst the social unrest, Gigi’s outlook and musings on life lead Tsui to reflect on the unsolved matter and he eventually makes an important decision.

A lonely traffic warden falls in love with a mysterious delivery boy and found out they are sharing the unusualness of synesthesia. The mysterious delivery boy believes that all the five senses are intimately connected in one pattern, if he could find a person who shares the same pattern with him, he could fall into the other side of the reality. The traffic warden has to choose if she is going to take a leap of faith or staying comfortably in this lonely boring reality.
