Tino, a single father who faces great challenges in raising his two children, finds out one day that he is also the father of two rebellious teenagers, children of Aidé, a former high school classmate who has become an important businesswoman. For Tino, this news becomes an opportunity to take on the role of father of the children he never knew he had. Thus, he begins to work at Aidé's company, but everything gets complicated when Tino and his family move into Aidé's house to integrate into her new life. The house becomes a battlefield, both of their children have problems adapting, and love resurfaces between Tino and Aidé and a torrid romance begins. But building this new life for Aidé, Tino and their children will not be easy; they will have to face serious obstacles, always supported by the strength of their love and that of their children.

Waku waku is the Dutch version of a Japanese game-show format (hence the name, unintelligible in Dutch or other Western languages) in which a small panel of celebrities is shown a number of short film sequences in which (usually wild or zoo) animals are shown in unusual (often artificially created) situations. Superman made it clear to all Permans that their identity must be kept a secret or their brain will be destroyed should it ever be revealed and they are given a special doppelganger robot that can replace them while they are away to achieve this feat, although it is not entirely foolproof nor is it free from potential problems. These equipments then allowed them to be young Permans who try to maintain peace and help the people who are in need.

An American Shorthair kitten wanders away from her mother and siblings one day while enjoying a walk outside. Lost in her surroundings, she struggles to find her way back home. She is soon found by the Yamada family. Finding a home for her proves to be difficult, so the family eventually decides to keep the kitten, naming her "Chi".
